Do you guys remember Manuel Mercado 'Lito' Lapid? He is a Filipino actor, who served as a Senator of the Philippines.
Lito Lapid was born in Porac, Pampanga on August 21, 1955. He started in the film industry as a stuntman and eventually became an actor. Even today a video clip from his movie 'San Basilio' 1981 is roaming around from different social media websites as a GIF.
He went through a lot of hardship before he could achieve what he has now. For instance, his luxurious mansion and he is proud of it because it shows that all his hard work has paid off.
In the video provided below, Lito Lapid used to put water on burned rice in order to soften it and with a pinch of salt his meal of rice and water is complete. He also mentioned that if they are going to the field, there are times when they don't have any plates which led them to scoop out rice using their bare hands.
