Veteran actor Mon Confiado shares his transformation for his role on the fils " The Diplomat Hotel"

Mon Confiado has appeared in over 300 local films and he won the best supporting actor award in the prestigious FAMAS in 2008. 

Mon Confiado was born in Sampaloc, Manila Philippines. Stands 5 feet and 10 inches. The son of Veteran Filipino Character Actor, Angel Confiado. A graduate of Civil Engineering in Mapua Institute of Technology. 

An Entrepreneur, owner of several bars and restaurants in Manila and Cebu City most notably 22nd Street Comedy bar one of the pioneers of comedy bars in the Philippines. since 1997. He also co-owns Rock Street, ILoveSteak Steak House and Fab Body Spa, Salon and Nail Bar along with his siblings.

Recently, Mon shocks netizens after he post on her Instagram account some snap shots scenes from the five year old film "The Diplomat Hotel" It was shown last 2013 Cinemalaya.  

He said that he lost 40 pounds, shaved his hairline and pate and mastered the slumped posture and deeper voice in 3 weeks for his role.

“The Diplomat Hotel” circulates around the life of a disgraced reporter, portrayed by Gretchen Barretto, who seeks redemption by spending one night with the documentary crew at the hotel known for its horror history. The film was directed by Christopher Ad Castillo.
